More Easel Wars Artists

It’s time to meet our next 2 Easel Wars artists!

Painting “head-to-head” on Thursday, March 24th at 7:30 will be
Erica Wilson and Lisa Howell!

Erica Wilson

Erica grew up in Dubuque, Iowa with brief stints making art in Iowa City, Iowa and Seyðisfjörður, Iceland. She’s been back in Dubuque since 2017 and currently works at Wayfarer Coffee Roasters in the Millwork District and helps out with the Dubuque Area Arts Collective.

When we asked Erica why she wanted to be part of Easel Wars she said, “Theater is the fun, exciting thing that I like to do and to combine benefiting the grand opera house with making art sounds like a good time to me.”

Starting Monday, March 21st, 2022, You can donate into Erica’s campaign at: https://bit.ly/gohdonate

Lisa painted in high school and studied art and graphic design. Happily, in the last three years she has returned to painting after a twenty plus year hiatus.

Lisa told us that Easel Wars “looked like a really unique and interesting opportunity.” And we are excited to have her join us!

The concession stand will be open serving the Grand’s signature popcorn, and Rotary will be selling beer and wine at all events.
