Patron & Volunteer Services Manager

Position Type: Part-Time/20hrs per week on average

Salary Type: Hourly/Commensurate with experience

Job Summary:

The Patron and Volunteer Services Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of patron relations, ticketing operations, and front-of-house management to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all theatre patrons. This role oversees customer service initiatives, ticket sales, and the overall efficiency of front-of-house operations.

Additionally, the Patron and Volunteer Services Manager oversees the recruitment, training, coordination, and recognition of volunteers who contribute to the operations and activities of the theatre. This role ensures an engaging and supportive experience for volunteers while effectively utilizing their skills to enhance the theatre’s programs and services.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer service management within a theatre or performing arts environment (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems (Spektrix) and proficiency in MS Office suite (preferred).
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by theatre schedules.

Working Conditions:

  • The position may require standing or walking for extended periods during performances and events.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Flexibility in work hours to accommodate evening, weekend, and holiday schedules based on theatre programming.
